Cosmetic Dental Services
Have you ever felt like your smile was holding you back?
It’s a common concern, and it certainly makes sense. After all, your smile is one of the first things people notice about you. If your smile is dull or discolored, or if your teeth are damaged in some way, you might feel self-conscious about it. For some people, this can mean that they cover their smile up or even avoid smiling or laughing altogether.
We want our patients to feel confident in their smiles and show them off every chance they get!
If you’ve been hiding your smile, you owe it to yourself to explore your cosmetic dentistry options.
For many people, simply whitening their teeth can make a dramatic difference in the way they view their smile. We offer both Boost and Opalescence, and you can even choose whether you’d like to have us perform your whitening here in our office or you’d prefer to whiten your teeth in the privacy of your own home!
In-office whitening is a fast and simple procedure. It takes about an hour, and you’ll see instant results. This is a great choice if you need to improve your smile quickly, and many of the people who choose this option have an upcoming special event, like an important job interview, a reunion, or even their wedding!
Take-home teeth whitening takes a bit longer, but you will still see a huge improvement. The whitening kits in the drugstore simply don’t compare to the results you can get from a professional whitening kit selected for you by your dentist.
All-Ceramic Veneers and Crowns
If your teeth are damaged or discolored in a way that doesn’t respond to whitening treatments, we can look at other options.
For many, veneers are the answer. These durable shells of ceramic are remarkably versatile and can treat an incredible array of cosmetic concerns. Some of the ways we’ve used veneers include:
- Concealing large chips or cosmetic cracks
- Lengthening teeth that appear too short
- Widening teeth that are too narrow
- Fixing cosmetic misalignments
- Camouflaging significant discolorations
For more extensive issues or damage that affects the functionality of a tooth, an all-ceramic crown is a great choice. Veneers fit over the front of your teeth, but crowns cover the entire tooth. They are great for protecting teeth that have been damaged by trauma or decay or weakened by root canal therapy or a large filling.
Ultimately, all of the dentistry we provide is cosmetic! Dr. Killian takes great care to design your restorations so that they blend in beautifully with your existing dentistry. We believe that people should admire your smile, not your restorations!
